Angioma/Dilated Oil Gland Removal
This can only be done by electrocautery. It is quite painful. We can call in numbing cream to be applied ahead of time which can decrease the discomfort somewhat. It take 7-10 days for this to heal. The areas treated may be washed gently without abrasive cleansers. Only the hands should be used to wash, no washcloths or bathing puffs. Vaseline jelly or aquaphor may be applied to facial lesions post removal to help them heal more quickly.
